With 60 percent female board representation,
American Water was recognized for its strides towards gender parity
in the boardroom
American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly-traded U.S.
water and wastewater utility company, announced today that it was
recognized by the Women’s Forum of New York for having more than 60
percent of its board seats held by women. Susan Story, president
and CEO, of American Water accepted the award on behalf of the
company at the 2017 Breakfast of Corporate Champions held on Nov.
14, 2017 in New York City.
