Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure .

On November 13, 2017 Ares Capital Corporation issued a press release announcing that it will host an invitation only Investor Day for institutional investors and analysts on November 16, 2017. During the Investor Day Presentation, certain information pertaining to the performance of funds managed by Ares Management, L.P.’s Direct Lending Group will be discussed.

The Investor Day Presentation is being webcast and can be accessed on the home page of the Investor Resources section of Ares Management, L.P.’s website.
