Inaugural conference to take place in Montreal on October 19

MONTREAL, Oct. 18, 2017 /CNW/ - More than 300 professionals in the health care field will gather in Montreal, Quebec to learn about best practices in the healthcare industry at the first edition of Expérience Innovation Santé (EXIS), a conference focused on health innovation, on October 19, 2017. EXIS will bring together health professionals and managers from across Canada to listen to relevant and insightful presentations on healthcare issues and trends.

Morneau Shepell's Dr. Bill Howatt, chief research and development officer, workforce productivity, and Dr. Tyler Amell, partner, are among eight speakers at the conference. Dr. Howatt will present on total health and resiliency, with a focus on chronic disease and what employers can do to help maintain employees' well-being. Dr. Amell will discuss innovative perspectives on workplace mental health and productivity, and how employers can improve the lives of their employees. 

Participants of the conference will also be able to experience exciting exhibits such as a mental health virtual reality booth and Ubisoft's O'Zen program, which helps users manage stress and improve concentration.
