Unilever Chairman Marijn Dekkers Steps Down; Nils Andersen Named

Unilever PLC (ULVR.LN) said Wednesday that Chairman Marijn
Dekkers is stepping down from the board with immediate effect, and
that Nils Andersen will replace him.
The Dutch consumer giant--which houses Dove, Hellmann's, Marmite
and Ben & Jerry's among its brands--said Mr. Dekkers is
stepping down to focus on his responsibilities as founder and
chairman of Novalis LifeSciences. He will continue to serve as a
nonexecutive director of Unilever.
Mr. Dekkers was appointed as chairman in April 2016.
Mr. Andersen is currently a nonexecutive director and has been
on the board since April 2015.
