Joseph Antonellis to Retire from State Street Corporation after Almost 25 Years

State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT) announced today that Joseph
(Joe) Antonellis (age 60) will retire later this summer after
almost a quarter century at State Street.
“I feel very fortunate to have worked with Joe for a large
portion of his career, and what stands out the most for me is his
passion for the business and concern for our clients. These
qualities have made him successful in the significant
responsibilities he’s held here at State Street,” said Jay Hooley,
chairman and chief executive officer. “We thank him for everything
he’s done to contribute to our growth and wish him the very best
for his retirement.”
Antonellis joined State Street in 1991 and has held a number of
key positions during his tenure including head of the company’s
international business. His responsibilities will be assumed by his
leadership team with executive vice presidents and Management
Committee members, Jeff Conway and Wai Kwong Seck, leading State
Street’s EMEA and APAC businesses respectively.
