truView Risk Solution Expanded to Provide Clients with Securitized Credit Asset Class Coverage

State Street Global Exchange announced today that it has been recognized for custody and asset servicing expertise by aiCIO magazine and as a category leader in advanced technology and depth of client services by Celent a global research and advisory firm part of the Oliver Wyman group.

The XCelent Awards, presented by Celent, recognized top performing and emerging solution capabilities for next-generation portfolio and risk systems. Global Exchange’s truView risk solution received two XCelent awards for advanced technology and depth of client services. In addition, it was recognized as a strong contender for client base and market presence, making it the only solution recognized in three out of four categories.

truView services $2 trillion in assets and provides an online, end-to-end risk solution with broad multi-asset class coverage that includes data collection, exception handling and calculating of risk results. truView recently expanded its coverage with the addition of Moody’s data to include securitized asset classes RMBS, CMBS, ABS Car, ABS CC and Student Loans.

“In our industry study, State Street Global Exchange’s truView risk solution was recognized for its multi-asset class support, analytical capabilities and reporting functionality that lends itself to become a firm-wide, total investment risk system,” said Cubillas Ding, research director for securities and investments at Celent. “State Street Global Exchange has also demonstrated a strong vision in terms of focus and sustained investment in technology.”

State Street Global Exchange was also recognized by the aiCIO European Innovation Awards, which highlight the most innovative and positive work taking place across the European asset owner and asset manager sectors. The winners were determined by aiCIO’s editorial board, with support from the advisory team made up of mangers to assess real-time, accurate data on liquidity, risks and overall exposure.

“As State Street Global Exchange celebrates its first year, these awards validate our commitment to providing clients with a suite of innovative, multi-asset class analytics to help address risk, performance and challenges in investment decision making,” said Steve Vanourny, senior vice president and head of risk analytics, State Street Global Exchange. “Staying ahead of the curve means constantly innovating, adapting and collaborating with our clients to develop next-generation solutions.”
