State Street Global Advisors Expands Its Intermediary Business Group

State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management arm
of State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT) and the largest
institutional fund manager in the world�, today announced that
Gregory Zipoli and Christopher Logue have joined its Intermediary
Business Group. Created in 2001, State Street�s Intermediary
Business Group provides unmatched service to a growing client base
of financial advisors, broker-dealers, registered investment
advisors (RIAs) and family offices and represents more than $150
billion in assets under management. Gregory Zipoli has been
appointed regional consultant, focusing on supporting the RIA and
family office channels in the Midwest. He is based in Chicago and
will report to Michael Stevens, sales manager. Mr. Zipoli joins
State Street with nearly 15 years of financial services industry
experience. Most recently, he served as a vice president at
Pershing, cultivating growth opportunities for both Pershing and
The Bank of New York in the institutional marketplace. Prior to
this role, he was a vice president in Fidelity Investments�
Registered Investment Advisor Group. He received a bachelor of
science in economics-management from Ithaca College. Christopher
Logue has been appointed regional consultant, focusing on
supporting national, regional, and independent broker-dealer firms
in the Northeast. He is based in Boston and will report to Rich
Koerner, national sales director. Mr. Logue joins State Street with
more than 14 years of financial services industry experience. Most
recently, he served as an Investment Solutions Consultant for UBS
Financial Services, providing sales, marketing, and educational
support to financial advisors. Prior to this role, Mr. Logue was a
national retirement sales manager at State Street Global Advisors.
He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Notre Dame.
