In this new role, Cunningham will report to Mark Marinella, executive vice president and global head of fixed income research, sales and trading for State Street Global Markets. Earlier this year State Street Corporation announced that it was enhancing its trading, research and analytics capabilities in fixed income. He most recently served as chief executive officer as well as chief investment officer for Connecticut-based Breakaway Capital Advisors, LLC, a start-up credit hedge fund and independent research firm that he founded and managed. A graduate of Brown University with a Master of Business Administration in finance from Columbia Business School, Cunningham has also held senior management positions at investment management firm Neuberger Berman and in the Treasurer�s Office of General Motors Corporation.
