Betty Johnson Receives Regions’ Top Associate Honor

Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF) today announced that Betty Johnson, a Regions Morgan Keegan Trust administrator in Kingsport, Tenn., is the June recipient of the Better Life Award. The Better Life Award is the top award given at Regions Financial to associates for outstanding dedication and job performance, as well as exemplary involvement and commitment to the community.

Johnson was recognized for her outstanding commitment to customer service. She is also noted as being an exceptional leader at Regions Morgan Keegan Trust and in the community. “Betty possesses the drive to be successful in everything she does. We are proud to honor her with this prestigious award,” said Bruce Duggins, senior vice president for Morgan Keegan Trust in Tennessee.

Johnson joined the company in 1968 and over the years she has become a trusted advisor to thousands of clients in Tennessee. Currently Johnson and her team serve as a financial guardian to military veterans throughout the state. During her 43 years with Regions, Johnson has served veterans from World War II to the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Johnson is an active community volunteer who is involved with a number of veterans organizations as well as the United Way and her local Neighborhood Watch program.

The Better Life Award is presented monthly to a Regions associate who clearly lives the company’s mission to make life better for customers, associates and the communities it serves, and who is an example of the company’s values:

Regions associates are nominated by their managers and peers for the award. Regions President and Chief Executive Officer Grayson Hall honors recipients at the company’s headquarters in Birmingham, Ala., at a meeting broadcast live to offices and branches in the 16 states Regions serves. In addition to the recognition, associates earning the Better Life Award will receive an additional week of vacation and a crystal award.
