Company Surpasses One Million Gallon Mark; Files Form 10-QSB with
SEC LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Diametrics
Medical, Inc. (OTC:DMMC.OB) (BULLETIN BOARD: DMMC.OB) , which will
change its name to "Allegro Biodiesel Corporation" pending
shareholder approval, today announced that its production facility
in Pollock, Louisiana, has produced more than a million gallons of
soybean-based biodiesel since it began operating in April. The
company also said it today filed its Form 10-QSB with the SEC.
"Last month we surpassed the one million gallon mark, which
represents an important early milestone for our company," said
President and Chief Operating Officer Darrell Dubroc. "In the last
two years, our team has repurposed an ammonia-making plant into an
operating biodiesel facility with the capacity of up to 12 million
gallons per year, which is expandable to 20 million gallons per
year on the current footprint. We are more than satisfied with our
rate of progress." Dubroc noted that the Pollock facility, located
in Grant Parish in central Louisiana, should help meet the state's
long-term demand for biodiesel. In June 2006, the State of
Louisiana enacted a mandate that will require that all diesel sold
in the state have a 2% biodiesel blend. This "B2" mandate will
become effective once 834,000 gallons of biodiesel per month can be
produced within the state. Based on the state's aggregate use of
approximately 760 million gallons of diesel in 2005, fulfilling the
2% mandate will require an estimated 15 million gallons of
biodiesel annually. The company also issued the following updates:
* Financial Condition -- As of September 30th, the company had
total assets of approximately $38 million and total liabilities of
approximately $7 million. During the 10-day "stub" period from
September 20th to September 30th, the company recorded $126,281 in
biodiesel fuel sales. Full details of the company's financial
position, including its net loss for the period, are available in
its Form 10-QSB. The company noted that the stub period is not
representative of a typical quarter. * New Personnel -- The company
has hired as Michael E. Boswell as its new Project Construction
Manager. With more than 25 years of experience in construction
management, Mr. Boswell was most recently Construction Manager for
Fru-con Construction Corporation at Procter & Gamble Co. in
Pineville, Louisiana, and led P&G's $200 million capital
expansion project to construct a liquid detergent production
facility. He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology
from Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Boswell will focus on the
company's capital projects and the Pollock plant expansion. Charles
M. Murray has been named as Controller of the company's Louisiana
operations. Since 1986, he held accounting and finance positions of
increasing responsibility at Cleco Corp. (NYSE:CNL), the regional
energy company headquartered in Pineville, Louisiana. Most
recently, he was the Assistant Controller, playing a key role in
implementing Cleco's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program and
improving its financial reporting process. Mr. Murray was also
deeply involved in the planning and financing of Cleco's $1 billion
construction of its three natural gas-fired merchant power
facilities, the acquisition of gas transmission systems, and the
development of its merchant power marketing and trading operation.
He holds a B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Louisiana Tech
University. * Special Meeting -- On November 8th, the company filed
with the SEC a definitive notice of a special meeting of
stockholders on Schedule 14-C. The special meeting will be held on
November 28th at 10:00 a.m. in Los Angeles at 6053 West Century
Blvd., Suite 510, Los Angeles, California 90045. The special
meeting relates to the proposed reincorporation of the company in
the State of Delaware and the aforementioned name change to
Allegro, as well as the approval of its 2006 Incentive Compensation
Plan and the ratification of indemnification agreements between the
company and certain members of its board of directors. * Website

launch its website under the domain name
http://www.allegrobiodiesel.com/. About The Company In September
