Air Products Appoints Phil Sproger Director of Investor Relations; Alex Masetti Named North America Refining and Process Industries VP LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Air Products (NYSE:APD) has named Phil Sproger to the position of director, Investor Relations, effective July 2004. He will succeed Alex Masetti, who has been appointed regional vice president - Refining and Process Industries, North America. Sproger has over 20 years of experience with Air Products, holding diverse business assignments both domestically and internationally within Gases and Equipment standard plants, on-sites, Energy and Process Industries (EPI), environmental and energy systems, packaged gases and customer service. Most recently, he led the company's European tonnage gases business. In his new role, Masetti will be responsible for North American commercial activities for pipeline, merchant, and on-site products within Air Products' EPI growth platform. He joined the company in 1981 and has held a variety of technical, commercial, and management positions in the U.S. and Asia before becoming director, Investor Relations in 2000.
