Products (NYSE:APD) today announced it will increase production of
ultra high-purity nitrogen and oxygen and expand its nitrogen
pipeline serving the electronics industry in Chandler, Ariz.
Air Products' nitrogen pipeline in Chandler has been serving semiconductor
manufacturers in the area since 1981. The pipeline is fed by air
separation plants that also produce product for the local merchant
liquid bulk market. The expansion will provide Air Products with
additional nitrogen and oxygen to supply growing merchant needs in
the area.
