Disclosure Project, which holds the largest database of corporate
climate change information in the world, has recognized Air
Products' (NYSE:APD) approach to climate change disclosure and
named the company to its Leadership Index for 2009. Of the
S&P500, only the top 50 companies' responses to the CDP's
questionnaire are included in its Leadership Index, which
highlights the "constituent companies displaying the most
professional approach to corporate governance in climate change
disclosure practices." Companies were scored based on their
responses to the CDP's questions that ranged from greenhouse gas
emissions and reduction targets, to risks and opportunities
