BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. (NASDAQ: BJRI) today announced the opening
of its restaurant in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The new BJ’s Restaurant
& Brewhouse opened yesterday, April 1, 2024, on Bluemound Road
retail corridor in front of the Brownstones Shopping Center. The
restaurant is approximately 7,500 square feet, seats approximately
250 guests and features BJ’s extensive menu, including BJ’s
signature deep-dish pizza, award-winning handcrafted beer and
famous Pizookie® dessert. BJ’s unique, contemporary décor provides
the perfect environment for all dining occasions. Current hours of
operation are from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through
Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
“We are excited to open our first restaurant of
the year in Brookfield, Wisconsin,” commented Greg Levin, Chief
Executive Officer & President. “Brookfield is our first
restaurant in the state of Wisconsin. We look forward to opening
more restaurants in the state as we continue our national
expansion. We remain on track to open two additional restaurants in
the second half of 2024 and continue to build our development
pipeline to be in position to accelerate restaurant openings in
2025 and beyond. Following the Brookfield opening, future BJ’s will
be our new prototype that will cost approximately $1 million less
to build and provide greater operating efficiencies, while
incorporating the best elements of our ongoing restaurant remodel
initiative, including a new bar statement with the guest-favorite
130” television as a centerpiece.”
As with all of our new restaurants, BJ’s opens
its doors to the local community prior to our grand opening. During
this time, a portion of the proceeds from food and alcohol
purchases, as well as any voluntary donations from the local
community, are donated to the BJ’s Restaurants Foundation.
