European Commission Approves Purchase Agreement for 200 Million J&J Covid-19 Vaccine Doses

Johnson & Johnson said the European Commission has approved
an advance purchase agreement for 200 million doses of its Covid-19
vaccine candidate following authorization from regulators.
European Union member states will also have the option to get up
to 200 million additional doses, J&J said Thursday.
The company said it has also allocated up to 500 million doses
toward international efforts to ensure access to lower income
countries, with delivery beginning in mid-2021 after regulatory
approval.
