The National Transportation Safety Board said it will hold a board meeting on Feb. 25 to determine the probable cause of a fatal March 2018 crash of a Tesla Inc. (TSLA) vehicle.

The NTSB issued a preliminary report in June 2018 about the Mountain View, Calif., incident. The NTSB said at the time that the Model X sport-utility vehicle "did not detect the driver's hands on the steering wheel in the six seconds before the crash," and said the Tesla Autopilot system was in "continuous operation for the last 18 minutes and 55 seconds prior to the crash."
