Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (APD) is ratcheting up its
prices for its North American customers beginning next year, the
company said Monday.
Prices for liquid argon will increase up to 20%. Prices for
liquid forms of nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide will increase
up to 10%. Monthly service charges are also increasing by 10%.
Helium prices will also be increased, but it may be customer
specific, the firm said.
The Lehigh Valley, Pa.-based company said some price adjustments
may be outside of these ranges based on specific situations. The
company said the price hikes are due to sourcing, production and
delivery costs, and to support continued investments in
reliability, security, and safety.
