Since I am not short term trading this stock, I really have no interest in supporting the bid. I am happy getting an occasional fill on what I consider to be a low ball order.

I bought 20K at .0152. No real conviction, just an opportunity to snag some at the bottom of a big spread. I may flip them out at any time.

My Fidelity time and sales feed shows the ask size was 20K (at $.024) when all 7 trades today were executed.

It shows that when the big trade of 274,580 shares was executed it was at the bid price of $.0152 - the bid size at the time of execution was 25,420 shares.

If you can make sense out of those numbers, you're a better analyst than I am. lol

Was there 275k on the bid when that hit?

The hammer will fall on Monday if MVNT hasn't filed their annual report by then.

If no extension is filed, then MVNT could enter the 15-day grace period. If annual isn't filed by end of the grace period, MVNT will be immediately downgraded to the expert market.

It will basically be the same timeline as last year when MVNT was downgraded to the EM for one-day before getting back to Pink Current.

I have 13 OTC tickers currently.

I've divided them into 3 groups.

Group 1 I have assessed to have a reasonable chance of success (33%+).
Group 2 are total failures (less than 2% chance of success).
Group 3 are tickers I don't have enough current information for to assess their chances.

I used to have MVNT in Group 1. But I have changed my outlook enough to put MVNT in Group 3. If and when MVNT files their FY 2024 report, I will reassess my outlook for MVNT.

Until then, good luck to all MVNT shareholders. Just hoping I don't have to put MVNT in Group 2. lol

MVNT's book value is negative according to their 2023 Annual report.

Even MVNT's revenue per share was only about $.0026 for FY 2023.

Think about it.

In balance sheet terms, the company has hardly any value. In this respect, the low share price is not really surprising.

Believe me, if anyone tries to tap the ask, two things will happen quickly.

First the buy order will be filled below the ask, then quickly followed by the ask dropping as well.

I've been watching MVNT long enough to make that prediction fairly confidently. LOL

Still am surprised they let the ask stand at .024

They usually drop that down as well

Up 17% on 19k volume. The very definition of thin. Sure it could go down just as easily, but it indicates shares are being tightly held. Any volume and she flies.

It does not say that MVNT has a joint venture WITH Pemex, but rather a JV with 2 other companies to do a "joint tender bid" **TO** Pemex. The other two companies are not named in the release. Presumably they are also smaller niche suppliers in the oilfield service/monitoring space, and individually none of the three can offer the full suite of capabilities that Pemex wants for remote monitoring.

It is a creative way for MVNT to approach larger accounts like Pemex, but they are still looking to SELL STUFF TO PEMEX. It is not a JV WITH Pemex.

MVMT may secure Pemex as a customer, but there will never be a joint venture between the two companies. The relationship would always be supplier to customer.

We just need management to open up the lines of communication and this rips wide open. PEMEX JV could send us to $1.28
