Sanofi SA (SAN.FR) said Thursday that it is investing 350 million euros ($432.9 million) for the construction of a vaccine manufacturing facility in Canada.

The investment will increase its capacity to meet growing demand for pediatric and booster vaccines, the company said.

The facility will produce the antigens used in the diphtheria and tetanus vaccines, it said.

The building will be located at the Sanofi Pasteur Canadian headquarters in Toronto and construction will be completed in 2021, the company said.
