UnitedHealthcare donated $27,000 to Jayrone Elliott’s
Dreambuilders program to support the project. Employee volunteers
from UnitedHealthcare assembled and installed equipment for the new
1,750-square-foot playground, and were joined by Elliott to re-open
the playground to Lincoln Elementary students.
“Keeping kids active and healthy in Green Bay is important, and
I couldn’t ask for a better partner in this effort than
UnitedHealthcare,” said Elliott, the 2016 Green Bay Packers Walter
Payton Man of the Year. “This new playground will give all of the
students at Lincoln Elementary a fun, new place to play and stay
active.”
“UnitedHealthcare is grateful for the opportunity to partner
with Jayrone Elliot and his Dreambuilders program to promote
healthy activity in the Green Bay community,” said Dustin Hinton,
president and CEO, UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin.
"We appreciate the generosity of Jayrone Elliott and
UnitedHealthcare in making the new playground a reality,” said
Angela Hager, principal of Lincoln Elementary School. “The new
playground is important to our school and the surrounding
neighborhood. We are especially grateful that the new playground
has additional features that can be enjoyed by all children,
including kids with special needs.”
