Digitalbox CEO James Carter on strong 2024 growth and 2025 outlook

Digitalbox PLC (AIM:DBOX) CEO James Carter takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s strong 2024 performance and its strategy heading into 2025. The company delivered a 31% increase in revenue during the year, with Carter describing it as “a good turnaround year.” He pointed to audience growth that outperformed broader news media trends, and revenue growth that exceeded global digital advertising market averages. Carter credited the success to the strength of Digitalbox’s brands and editorial teams, as well as the company’s in-house Graphene Ad Stack technology. “The editorial teams are really very well tuned into what their audiences want,” he said. Among standout performers were TV Guide, which achieved 90% traffic growth in Q4 following a move to a web app format, and The Tab, which benefited from social media asset integration. The Poke also saw a 22% increase in traffic following increased content investment. The company expanded its portfolio from six to eight brands in 2024, aiming to reach ten by the end of 2025. EBR Systems nears FDA approval for CRT pacemaker

EBR Systems Inc Senior Vice President Andrew Shute talked with Proactive at the AIM maSmall and Midcap Conference about the company’s upcoming FDA decision for its leadless CRT pacemaker system. The device is designed to treat heart failure and represents the only leadless option in a market currently dominated by three players—with no direct competitor. Shute said, “We've developed the world's only leadless pacemaker to treat heart failure. And we're on track to receive FDA approval within the next two and a half weeks.”* The product already holds FDA Breakthrough Device designation, and has shown strong clinical results, including a 16.4% reduction in left ventricular end systolic volume—well above the target goal of 9.3%. Shute outlined the company's go-to-market plan, emphasizing that reimbursement is expected to begin from October 1st under the NTAP and TPT schemes, enabling an ASP of USD 45,000. The company only needs to sell around 2,200 units annually to reach USD 100 million in revenue. “We’ve got no direct competition,” he said. He also highlighted the successful completion of the FDA’s pre-approval inspection with no observations—an uncommon achievement in the medical device industry. The device, supported by data published in JAMA Cardiology, was also featured at the Heart Rhythm Society meeting in 2023. MP Evans posts record 2024 results, eyes growth

MP Evans Group PLC (AIM:MPE) CEO Matthew Coulson takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s record results for 2024 and the strong start to 2025. MP Evans Group reported a robust financial performance in 2024, with Coulson confirming a record profit and a 66% increase in earnings per share. “It’s been a fantastic year for the group,” Coulson said, noting that high pricing supported the result, with prices averaging around $820 per tonne for the year. The company processed 1.6 million tonnes of crop in 2024, maintaining output despite weather-related challenges in Indonesia. Coulson highlighted this achievement in context: while Indonesia saw a slight national decline in crop yield, MP Evans sustained high volumes, reflecting operational resilience. Planting activity also continued across its operations, particularly in South Sumatra and East Kalimantan. Sprintex secures A$3.25m to expand global output; reduce debt

Sprintex Ltd (ASX:SIX) managing director and CEO Jay Upton talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s successful A$3.25 million capital raise, drawing strong backing from both existing shareholders and new institutional investors. Upton said approximately A$1.5 million of the funds would go toward debt reduction, with the remaining A$1.75 million allocated to accelerating production and sales of Sprintex’s new range of high-speed electric compressors.
