Pursuant to the general authority granted by shareholders on 7 August 2003, on
23 June 2004 the Company purchased for cancellation 25,000 of its own ordinary
shares at 97p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
10,330,045 ordinary shares of 10p each.
