Issue of Equity 
 
 
Tangent has today made application for a total of 100,000 ordinary shares of 1p 
each ("New Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM as the result of the 
exercise by a non-director employee of an option granted under Tangent's EMI 
Share Option Scheme. 
 
 
Admission of the New Shares to trading on AIM is expected to become effective at 
8.00 am on 22 December 2009. 
 
 
On admission of the New Shares, the total number of issued shares in Tangent 
will be 170,533,502. The Company holds no shares in treasury. Therefore, 
the total number of voting rights in the Company is 170,533,502. This figure may 
be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which 
they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a 
change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Services 
Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
