The Board of Ted Baker plc announce that, in accordance with the requirements
of Part VI of the Companies Act 1985, they received notification on 14 March
2001 that Brittanic Investment Managers Limited now have an interest in
1,682,866 ordinary shares of the Company, as detailed below, which represents
4.08% of the Company's issued share capital.
