SPORTSWORLD MEDIA GROUP PLC (the "Company")

Board Change

Further to the announcement made on 27 July 2000, the Company announces that
Jeff Chapman, Executive Chairman of the Company, has today retired from his
position as Executive Chairman and as a Director of the Company and all other
companies in the Sportsworld Group.

John Bernbach, presently a Non-Executive Director of the Company, will assume
the role of Non-Executive Chairman, with immediate effect.
