 THREE NEW STORES TO OPEN AT DUNSTABLE, MILTON KEYNES AND
       READING  BEFORE THE END OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR

                             
ScS Upholstery plc, the fully listed furniture retailer, is
pleased to announce that contracts have been exchanged on
three new sites, all of which are expected to open before
the end of the current financial year.

The stores are on the new Wilson Bowden developed Lion
Retail Park at Dunstable,  the Cairngorm Furniture Centre
at Milton Keynes and on the Brunel Retail Park in Reading.

These three openings will bring the Groups total number of
stores to 20, giving 39,000 sq.ft. of additional retail
space. Together with the Nottingham store opened earlier in
the year, stores sales space will have increased by 27% in
the current financial year.

Commenting on these openings ScS Chief Executive Mike
Browne said "These three new stores represent excellent
opportunities for ScS. They are the first of the planned
eight new store openings announced at the time of our
Interim results and underline our confidence in the future.
At the end of this financial year ScS sales space will be
75% greater than at the time of flotation in December
