Osmetech plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification on 10
January 2001 from Jupiter Asset Management Limited that that it no longer has
a notifiable interest in the ordinary share capital of the Company. For the
avoidance of doubt, Jupiter Asset Management Limited still has a
non-disclosable interest in 22,383,445 ordinary shares of the Company
representing approximately 9.87% of the total issued Ordinary Share capital
and for the avoidance of doubt, Jupiter Asset Management Limited holds the
aforementioned shares as an investment manager acting on behalf of
discretionary clients.
