The Board of Baltimore notes the announcement by Oryx International Growth Fund
Ltd regarding an offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of
the Company.

The Board does not believe that this unsolicited approach offers any enhancement
of shareholder value and that it fails to provide evidence of superior prospects
for returns.

The Board urges shareholders to take no action. The Company will respond fully
to the Oryx announcement in due course.
