RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR



Jean-Luc Michel, whose appointment as Finance Director of Nipson Digital
Printing Systems PLC was announced with the first quarter results on 18 May
2005, has decided, for personal reasons, not to take up the position.  It was
not intended that M. Michel would join the plc Board.



Following M. Michel's decision, which will not have any negative impact on the
business, the company will continue its search for an appropriate candidate for
Finance Director and will make an announcement as soon as one is appointed.
