Progress in MCG's healthcare practice in the United States

Management Consulting Group PLC ("MCG" or "the Group"), the international professional services group, today announces some recent developments in the healthcare consulting practice of Kurt Salmon which reflect its strategy to grow through small acquisitions of teams and businesses.

Kurt Salmon has recently completed the acquisition of New Albany Healthcare Consultants ("NAHC") for a total consideration of US$0.8 million. NAHC provides consulting services related to performance improvement in clinical operations in hospitals and medical practices, in particular in surgical functions. Since its formation in 1989, NAHC has worked at a large number of hospitals and surgical centres across the United States. A dedicated team of five senior consultants from NAHC, led by Diane Doucette and Dick D'Enbeau, has joined the healthcare practice of Kurt Salmon and brings an important additional capability to Kurt Salmon's healthcare consulting offering in the United States.
