Statement re Share Price Movement on ASX

The directors of Leyshon Resources Limited ("Leyshon" or the "Company") (AIM & ASX: LRL) note the increase in the Company's share price in trading on the ASX today and confirm they know of no reason for the price rise.

As previously announced, the Company is in negotiations and undertaking due diligence in relation to a PRC entity that holds an exploration licence over a thermal coal project in the Western Chinese province of Xinjiang. One possible explanation (which the Company is unable to confirm or deny has any merit) for the price movement may be due to speculation as to the outcome of those negotiations.
