                           AGM and Trading Statement



Leisure & Gaming plc ("L&G" or the "Company") announces that at its Annual
General Meeting ("AGM") yesterday all resolutions were approved, including the
restructuring of the Company's share capital that returns the nominal value of
the Company's ordinary shares to below market price.  The restructuring has no
direct effect on the market price of the shares but gives the Company the
flexibility to issue new equity for expansion and development capital to take
advantage of identified growth opportunities for the group.



The Company is taking this opportunity to provide a trading update for its main
operating business Betshop Group (Europe) Limited ("Betshop").  For the four
months to 30 April 2007 Betshop recorded EBIT of approximately Euro1.1m (a 31%
increase on the equivalent period in 2006), from turnover of approximately
Euro44.6m (a 91% increase on the equivalent period in 2006) and approximate net win
of Euro11.9m (a 71% increase on the equivalent period in 2006).



Turnover has continued to grow in May in line with management expectations,
however substantial adverse sporting results, including an Italian team winning
the Champions' League, has resulted in a material trading loss for the month,
estimated at approximately Euro1.4m at the gross profit level.



Management regard this trading loss as an exceptional occurrence and remain
confident in the underlying performance of the business as evidenced by the
continuing strong growth in turnover and the business development opportunities
that are underway.  These include new product launches across our Italian
network of over 1100 franchised retail outlets and the expansion of the business
into Romania where the company holds a betting license.
