                              Exercise of Warrants



Global Energy Development PLC (the "Company") announces that following receipt
of notices to exercise warrants at an exercise price of 60p from four
shareholders of the Company, with the latest notice received on 8 August 2005,
the Company has allotted and issued credited as fully paid 84,275 new ordinary
shares in the Company (the "New Shares").  Application has been made for the New
Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to occur on 22
August 2005.


Following admission, the issued share capital of the Company will be 35,130,430
ordinary shares.
