                      C4 CHOOSES QUAESTOR FOR BRAND TRACKER

Channel 4 has commissioned Quaestor the research & marketing strategists within
eq group plc for a monthly tracking study to assess brand consistency and viewer
loyalty across its entire range of programming.
At the core of the study is an analysis of every programme, rated against a
range of key brand values. The research is also used to establish loyalty to
particular programmes - whether viewers make a specific appointment to view them
rather than seeing them by chance.

Channel 4 will use the research findings to ensure its output remains in line
with its overall brand strategy and to reinforce its brand values with
advertisers.

Quaestor conducts quantitative CATI interviews each month for the tracker, based
on a random sample as well as setting quotas on Channel 4's target audience.

Rachel Shaw, Head of Audience and Programme Insight at Channel 4, said: "It's
important to C4 that we can track the values that viewers place on programmes in
order that we can look beyond ratings and discover the real impact that
programmes have with viewers. Our research with Quaestor helps us to see the
value beyond ratings."
