TV Interactive's push into the pharmaceutical sector gathers pace

AIM listed e-quisitor plc ("e-quisitor") acquired US-based TV Interactive ("TVI
") in November 2000 as part of its strategy to build a group of profitable "
information oriented" businesses. At the time of acquisition TVI specialised in
developing cross-media campaigns (using broadcast TV, video, internet, video
news releases and print) for global technology and pharmaceutical companies.

Over the past 12 months TVI has gradually transitioned its product and service
offerings away from the technology sector and focused more heavily on the
pharmaceutical industry.

To further strengthen TVI's offering in this sector it has recently launched a
new service, called PRC, that enables pharmaceutical and biotech companies to
compress drug development cycles by improving the recruitment and retention of
patients required for clinical research.

Bob Bond, CEO of e-quisitor said "TVI has been working hard with its existing
clients to apply its media and production expertise to address the competitive
pressures that pharmaceutical companies now face. We believe PRC strikes the
right balance between recruitment, which is a function of scripting, production
and media placement; and education which contributes to retention and is an
important social consideration for TVI's clients."

It is estimated that delays during the clinical trials process cost
pharmaceutical companies between $800,000 and $5.4 million per day in lost sales
(source: McKinsey, 2002). Currently there are over 1700 therapeutic agents
undergoing Phase I, II and III clinical trials in the US.

To date, TVI has completed five PRC contracts with major U.S. pharmaceuticals.
