Dewhurst plc announces that on 5 March 2007, pursuant to the authority granted
by shareholders in general meeting, it purchased 12,500 of its own Ordinary
Shares for cancellation. The shares were purchased at 191p each. The total
number of Ordinary Shares now in issue is 3,522,200.
