LONDON--DQ Entertainment PLC (DQE.LN) said Friday that it has signed a licensing deal with television company Viacom18 to launch Jungle Book merchandise range in India.

The producer of animated movies said that the licensing agreement was signed with the consumer products division of Viacom18.

The Jungle Book is a collection of children stories written by Rudyard Kipling.

Shares of DQ Entertainment at 1337 GMT trading 29.4% higher at 11 pence.
