                  Management Appointment

Deltron  Electronics plc ("Deltron") is pleased to announce
the  appointment of Neal Turner as Managing Director of its
fully    owned   UK   distribution   subsidiary,   Roxburgh
Electronics.  Neal,  aged  47,  was  previously  Sales  and
Marketing  Director of Maplin Electronics and  before  that
worked for Farnell Components and Macro Group Limited (part
of Diploma plc).

Barrie  Griffiths,  who was formerly Managing  Director  of
Roxburgh  and  a  main board Director of  Deltron,  becomes
Commercial   Director  with  responsibility  for   product,
management  and  sales, marketing and supplier  initiatives
working alongside Neal.

This  latest  recruitment follows the appointments  of  Ake
Karlson   as   Managing  Director  of  Freber  Electronics,
Deltrons  Swedish  Subsidiary and  Philippe  Guillaume  as
Managing  Director of EURoINDustrie, its French subsidiary.
At  that time, Francois Feldman, also a main board Director
of  Deltron, agreed to broaden his role within the group to
concentrate on its continued European development and  well
as   taking  on  his  current  position  as  President   of
EUROiNDustrie.

Christopher  Sawyer, Chief Executive of Deltron Electronics
commented...."We  are delighted to have someone  of  Neals
experience on board as a member of the top management team.
We   are  on  track  to  build  an  organisation  with  the
credentials  for  market  leadership  in  electromechanical
components not only in the UK but throughout Europe."

It  is  anticipated  that Deltron will report  its  interim
results for the six months ended 31 March 99 in mid to late
June.
