                       ACQUISITION OF BES ELECTRONICS LTD


Deltron Electronics plc (LSE : DET), the specialist European electromechanical
solutions provider, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the business and
assets of BES electronics Ltd, a well respected specialist supplier of products
to the media and broadcasting industry, for an aggregate consideration of #0.5
million.  This is the second acquisition for Deltron in two working days. On
Friday 15th July the Company announced its contract to acquire Deltrona
Vertriebsgesellschaft fur elektronische Bauelemente mbH for #2.5 million.

The consideration for the acquisition is being satisfied as to #0.4 million in
cash on completion with the balance to be paid in cash on agreement of
completion accounts. The net assets at completion are projected at #0.3M.

In the year ended 31 December 2003, BES, which was founded in 1982, recorded
turnover of approximately #0.7 million. BES fits very well with Deltron's
existing Media(C) and emediamax(C) range of broadcasting products which is
operated out of Scunthorpe. BES supplies a number of leading companies including
the BBC. With the worlds broadcasters moving from analogue to digital the
opportunity to promote Deltron's existing products through the BES brand is
exciting.

The acquisition of BES will be earnings enhancing in the year to 30th September
2006.
