                           SHARE SALES BY DIRECTORS
                                       

CMG plc ("CMG"), the ICT services group, announces the following trades in CMG
ordinary shares of 2 1/2p each ("Shares"):

     Cor Stutterheim, Chairman, sold 200,000 Shares, representing 0.03 per
     cent of the Shares in issue and approximately 8 per cent of his
     beneficial interests in CMG.

     Tom Rusting, CEO, sold 100,000 Shares, representing 0.02 per cent of the
     Shares in issue and approximately 25 per cent of his beneficial interests
     in CMG.
   
     Clay Brendish, Deputy Chairman of CMG and former Chairman of Admiral
     plc, sold 744,000 Shares.

     Mrs S A F Brendish, wife of the Deputy Chairman, sold 3,521 Shares.

     C M Brendish Children's Settlement Trust sold 2,500,000 Shares in CMG 
     in order to rebalance its portfolio of investments.  Clay Brendish is a
     trustee but not a beneficiary of the Trust.
   
Collectively, the Shares sold on behalf of Clay Brendish and his family
represent 0.54 per cent of the Shares in issue and approximately 20 per cent
of his and his family's beneficial interests in CMG.  Following the sale, Clay
Brendish has a beneficial interest in 8,787,250 Shares in his own name and
4,467,187 Shares held by family trusts.

These trades, which are for personal reasons, follow the announcement of the
interim results on 30 August 2000 and the end of the "closed" period for
directors' sales.  The number of opportunities for selling Shares to meet
personal commitments has been severely limited in recent times due to
acquisition activity as well as the normal closed periods.  These directors
retain significant shareholdings in the company.

The Shares were sold today for 1370 pence per share.
