CMG PLC acquires French ICT Services Group
CMG PLC, the European Information and Communications
Technology ('ICT') Services Group announces that it has
acquired on 1 March 2000 100% of EPL Group. EPL is an
Information Systems company based in Paris, specialising in
systems and networks operations management. EPL has grown
rapidly since its inception in 1996 establishing a strong
position in its core market, with a main focus in Unix and
Windows NT client-server architecture. EPL Group's
customers are particularly strong in France's Finance and
Industry sectors, including AXA, ABN Amro, BNP, Credit
Lyonnais, France Telecom, GEFCO and Societe Generale.
In the year ended 31 December 1998 EPL Group had a turnover
of FF 30 million and an operating income of FF 3.7 million.
Non-audited figures for 1999 include a turnover of FF 58
million and an operating income of FF 6.4 million. At the
end of 1999 the company employed 90 people. The total
consideration to be paid in cash is FF 53 million
representing goodwill and the net assets of the company.
The company is expected to make a positive contribution to
CMG's earnings before goodwill amortisation in 2000.

to reach more than 500 people at the end of 1999.

CMG's 1999 full year results, which were announced on 21
February 2000, showed revenue growth of 37% to #609 million
and profit growth (before tax and goodwill amortisation) of
46% to #85.3 million.
