      CMG plc appoints three directors to the Board


CMG plc, the European IT services group, announced today
that three directors will join the Group Board with
effect from 1 April 2000.  The appointments follow a
period of rapid growth for the Group and reflect the
continued good prospects for IT services in the years
ahead.

Hugo Schaap, currently Country Chairman of CMG Benelux,
will join as Marketing Director, responsible for
developing and promoting the CMG brand and the
development, marketing and sales of cross-border
products and services.  He will also have responsibility
for the Group's partnering relationships with software
vendors.  He has been with CMG since 1973.

Bernd Lantermann, currently Country Chairman of CMG
Germany, will join as Business Development Director,
responsible for the development of the Group's business
plans and acquisition programme.  CMG completed five
acquisitions during 1999 and three more in January and
February 2000.  Bernd Lantermann has been with CMG since
1993.

Ian Taylor, currently Country Chairman of CMG UK, will
join as Human Resources and Organisation Director.  He
will be responsible for internal organisation, personnel
policies and people & management development.  He will
also ensure that CMG maintains its unique ethos which it
believes has been and remains a key factor in attracting
and retaining talented and experienced individuals.  Ian
Taylor has been with CMG since 1994.

The announcement of the new Board appointments came as
the Group announced its results for the year ending 31
December 1999.  These showed turnover growth of 37%,
profit before tax (and goodwill amortisation) up 45% and
earnings per share (before goodwill amortisation) up
48%.
