CMG plc acquires German IT Services company
CMG plc, the European IT Services Group, announced today
that it will acquire 100 percent of adit GmbH, a German
IT services company located in Starnberg (near Munich)
and operating in the industry sector. The acquisition
will take effect on 1 January 2000 and the total
consideration of 13 million DM (#4.3 million) will be
paid in cash.
adit GmbH provides services in the ERP (Baan) and
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) markets. The
company generated revenues of 6.7 million DM (#2.2
million) and a profit before tax of 1.8 million DM
(#0.6 million) in the first half of 1999 with 23
employees and around 20 freelancers. The acquisition is
expected to make a positive contribution to CMGs
earnings before goodwill amortisation in 2000. adits
previous owner and employees will be integrated with
CMG's existing operations immediately following the
acquisition.
Commenting on the acquisition, Bernd Lantermann, Country
Chairman for CMG Germany, said:

in two of our most important strategic business
lines in Germany. In particular, the adit co-
operation with Vantive enables CMG to extend its
reputation in the promising CRM market."
