Clipper Ventures PLC, the AIM-listed promoter of the Clipper Round the World
Yacht Race, the VELUX 5 OCEANS solo round the world race and Zapcats one design
powerboat racing, is delighted to announce the appointment of Guy Denis Spelman
as Non Executive Director.

Guy, 47, is currently a director of Pelagon Limited, Toumaz Tecnology Limited,
Accretive Technology, and Nanoscience Inc; and in the past five years has been
a director of Play Cricket.com, Arthur Andersen and Play-Sport New Media
Limited Save for the above, there is no further information required to be
disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules, with respect to
the appointment of Guy Spelman.
