                   Clipper 05-06 Round the World Yacht Race                    

Clipper Ventures Plc ("Clipper" or the "Company"), the AIM quoted ocean racing
company, is pleased to confirm that the re-start of the Clipper 05-06 Round the
World Yacht Race took place as scheduled.

The fleet left Subic Bay at 07:00am GMT on Saturday 25th March and is scheduled
to arrive in Qingdao on 2nd April.
