                      Clipper Ventures Plc (the "Company")


The Company has today made application for 592,308 ordinary shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM.


The ordinary shares were issued as a result of placings in 2000 and 2004 but due
to an administrative error have not yet been admitted to trading. Admission is
expected to occur on 21 March 2006.


As a result of this admission the issued share capital of the Company has not
changed and remains at 31,051,917 ordinary shares.
