FCC Sets Schedule for Review of Bell Atlantic Long Distance Application

The FCC has established the following schedule for review of the Bell Atlantic
New York long distance application:

          October 19       New York PSC and third party comments

          November 1       Department of Justice comments

          November 8       Reply comments from all parties

Bell Atlantic submitted its application on September 28, and the FCC has 90 
days to review application with a statutory deadline of December 28.
