BAE Systems Appoints Charles Woodburn to Replace CEO Ian King in July

LONDON--BAE SYSTEMS PLC (BA.LN) Wednesday named Charles Woodburn
chief executive to replace Ian King who will retire on June 30.
The global defense, aerospace and security company said Mr.
Woodburn, who is currently chief operating officer, will be
appointed CEO from July 1.
BAE shares at 0910 GMT were down 0.50 pence, or 0.08%, at 608
pence, valuing the company at 19.31 billion pounds ($24
billion).
