PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES AND DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING



Andrews Sykes Group plc announces that it has today purchased for cancellation
20,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 115p per share.



Jacques Gaston Murray, a director of the company has today sold 20,000 Ordinary
Shares at a price of 115p per share.  Mr J G Murray is now interested in
51,016,257 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 69.75 per cent. of the
issued share capital.
