Pergo President to leave the company

Tom Almgren, President of Pergo, has announced that he does not wish to continue
to serve as President of this company. However, he is prepared to continue as
President during an interim period. Perstorp AB has initiated efforts to find a
successor with the credentials necessary for being president of an
international, publicly traded company.

"It is regrettable that Tom has made this decision, particularly in view of the
considerable efforts he has devoted to positioning Pergo. We're now working to
find a suitable successor," says Ake Fredriksson, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Perstorp.
